Assessments

The assessments for 2017 will be mailed out on the 10th of November.

Neighborhood Security

As many of our residents are seasonal it is up to our year-round residents to please keep an eye on those homes and report any suspicious activity to the sheriff’s office (911) and then to our Neighborhood Watch, John McClung @ (352) 232-3411.  We all benefit when we watch out for each other.

Good Neighbors

Many of us enjoy walking the roads during the Fall and Winter seasons so please watch your speed in the community.  Part of being a good neighbor is respecting the covenants and regulations of the community.  If you are planning any major work, we would appreciate you running those changes by the Architectural Control Committee.

Dam Repairs

We have been informed that we are moving up the list with the state.  We are at their mercy and they have many other dams which require more extensive repairs than ours.  Our Dam Committee is keeping in touch with the state and I will let everyone know as soon as we get a go ahead.

Water System

Avoidable issues with our water system caused the community to go over our budget for this year.  Do not leave hoses on and if you leave for an extended time please shut off your water at the street, especially when freezing weather is expected.

Real Estate

Our community not only looks great to us but also to outsiders.  Four homes were sold this year and another is under contract.  We also had two lots sell this year.  All good things to keep us vibrant and growing.

Holiday Party

The annual Christmas Party will be held on December 18th at Vivian and Mike Snyder’s house, 130 Cherokee Circle.  Watch for your invitation in your e-mail.
