Weather

Our rains are back.  Some of these rains have been accompanied by major winds.  Please check on your vacant neighbors’ homes for damage after any of these storms.  We did have a tree break through a roof and the damage was not found for weeks.  This resulted in major losses inside the house.

Good Neighbors

Along with watching out for each other’s homes, let’s also watch out for each other by checking our speed in the community.  Please respect the covenants and regulations of the community by running your home improvement projects by our Architectural Control Committee, chaired by Michael Gould

Dam Repairs

We are still waiting on the State but we are on the list for consideration.  We are fairly far down on the list.  With this in mind we may be able to attempt more paving on our roads next year.

Water System

The water tank, by the park, is done!  Please give Dick Hennig a big “Thank You” when you see him.

Waterfront Wednesdays

The Wednesday Gatherings are back.  They were changed, by request, to Fridays for the months of June and July.  A vote was taken and Wednesdays were preferred overwhelmingly.   This summer’s 4th of July celebration was the largest the community has ever had with 47 in attendance.

Labor Day Picnic

Our Labor Day Picnic will be held on September 3 at 5:00 p.m. at the Waterfront Park.  Be on the lookout for your invitation.

Annual Meeting

Our Annual Meeting is scheduled for Saturday September 9th at 10:00am.  It will be at the Firehouse as usual.  The Ballots and Budget have already been sent out.  We look forward to seeing you there.
